I trained as a Registered Mental Health Nurse in 1985 and then worked mostly in the community as a Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) especially with people experiencing serious mental illness including young people, women who have just given birth and adults of all ages.

I then combined this work with leadership and management within mental health before working more in acute hospitals and in planning and delivering more specialist services. I still work in the NHS focussing on service improvement and transformation helping to improve patient care.

I trained as a craniosacral therapist qualifying in 2012 having completed a two-year training covering both structural and biodynamic teaching. I have undertaken post-graduate training and development on a regular basis and receive regular supervision from one of the teachers from my training, a very experienced therapist working at the forefront of craniosacral therapy.

I was drawn to craniosacral therapy partly as an opportunity to work hands-on with clients of all kinds again but also as my daughter has some special needs that have benefited from craniosacral therapy.

As well as practicing craniosacral therapy on people I also practice on our horses and am happy to offer a service to equine clients. I am passionate about providing therapy that enables people to resolve issues important to them, to grow and be resourced and resilient.
